Known as the Land of High Passes, Ladakh truly is one of the most enchanting places one can visit. To behold the stunning beauty and rich culture of this region by road is an experience like no other!

The tour commences, in a Volvo bus from Delhi, and takes you to explore one of the most iconic hill stations in India, Manali. The real adventure begins as you leave for Tandi on the third day by SUV. Travelling through numerous passes and barren desert along the way, you bear witness to one novelty after another. As you journey through the Rohtang pass, Lahaul Region (of Lahaul and Spiti District), Baralacha La pass and Tanglang La pass treated to a multitude of breathtaking views and serene landscapes, the fifth day finds you in Leh.

Undoubtedly one of the most sought-after destinations, Leh has so much culture and excitement to offer. Amidst an amalgamation of chants from the historic monasteries and the gushing rivers during whitewater rafting, you continue your journey. The sixth day takes you via Chang La pass to explore the majestic beauty of the Pangong Lake area while the journey onward on the next day takes you to the Nubra Valley via Shyok, one of the least-travelled routes in the world! The seventh and eighth days are to explore the Nubra Valley, Hunder and Turtuk regions. The ninth day finds you crossing the Khardung La pass – the highest motorable pass in the world! As you continue to traverse along river banks and visiting tiny villages, you find yourself in Kargil on the tenth day, with the trip finally culminating in Srinagar!

This is a one-in-a-lifetime kind of experience as you wander geographical highs and navigate the depths of natural beauty, culture and majestic mountainscapes.

Day 1: DELHI TO MANALI

Reach Delhi and report to the New Delhi Volvo point by 5 pm. Board your AC semisleeper bus for an overnight journey to Manali.

Kindly Note: Dinner on this day is not included.

Day 2: EXPLORE MANALI

The overnight journey wakes you up in Manali early in the morning. Check into your hotel and get some rest followed by a quick orientation and tour briefing. You have the day to explore Manali, which offers a number of things to do. Amongst others, a beautiful trek to Jogni Waterfalls, known for its spectacular view of the Beas river and snow-capped peaks. The trek is followed by a visit to the Mall Road in the evening for some quick shopping. Back at the hotel, we will be waiting for you to celebrate with a Welcome Party! (8:00 pm). Dinner and stay for the night will be at the hotel.

Day 3: MANALI – JISPA

After breakfast, you will begin a 110 kms journey from Manali to Tandi. The first halt comes at Marhi, a tiny, barren village offering stunning views of the valley and mountains. Next, you proceed towards Rohtang Pass. Located 3978 metres above sea level, it is the Gateway to Lahaul and Spiti Valley! Crossing this pass reveals a stunning change in the scenery around the route, such that it has been featured in several Bollywood films like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Jab We Met, and is sure to leave you mesmerized. You then pass Khoksar, a village on the banks of the Chandra river, towards your destination for the day, Tandi. This village has the last petrol pump on the Manali-Leh highway and offers an exquisite view of the confluence between the Chandra and Bhaga rivers. Dinner and stay for the night is at our campsite in Jispa. Kindly Note: We will not be going to Spiti Valley during this Tour.

Day 4: ENROUTE LEH

After breakfast, you check out from the campsite and begin the day’s journey towards Leh. Along the way, you travel through Sarchu, a major halt point on the Manali-Leh highway. You then pass the Gata Loops known for the 21 hair-pin bends followed by traversing through Nakeela Pass and the Lachung La Pass to reach Pang. The next phase of this journey takes you across the Morai Plains known for the straight 50 kmlong road amidst the mountains as you climb towards the Tanglang La Pass, the second highest motorable pass and cross the Indus river to finally reach Leh. Dinner and stay for the night will be at your hotel in Leh.

Day 5: EXPLORE LEH

Spend the day exploring the beautiful city of Leh. You will be visiting Shanti Stupa that boasts a panoramic view of the city, War Memorial Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the mysterious Magnetic Hill and the sensational confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar – Sangam Valley! If time permits, you can even visit the Spituk Monastery and the majestic Leh Palace. The focal point of the day – Zanskar River Rafting*, in Leh is one of the most adventurous activities in the world. This rafting is Grade 3+, the highest rating and ends at Sangam! After rafting, you drive back to Leh for dinner and stay for the night at the hotel.

Day 6: LEH TO PANGONG TSO

After breakfast, you set off on another exhilarating journey by SUV or Bikes (as per the package purchased) via the Chang La Pass, the world’s third highest motorable pass! You travel to Pangong Lake, situated at a height of 4350 meters above sea level, this is the world’s highest saltwater lake. With crystal clear waters, in every breathtaking shade of blue imaginable, this lake is one of the best attractions of Ladakh. Two-thirds of this lake lies in China while a third lies in India and freezes completely during the winter months. Dinner and stay for the night will be at our campsite.

Day 7: PANGONG TSO TO NUBRA VALLEY

Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the Pangong lake to begin your day. Be sure to get some good pictures! After breakfast, you depart for Nubra Valley along the least travelled route. This route is along the Shyok Valley of the Shyok river. It is popularly known as the river of death since the route is a difficult one and hardly opted for. You reach Nubra Valley by late afternoon giving you a chance to enjoy the sand dunes in the cold desert of Hunder. Later that evening, you can even get a camel ride* on the two-humped bactrian camels. Dinner and stay for the night will be at Hunder.

*Kindly note that the camel ride is optional and the cost for the same is not included in the package.

Day 8: TURTUK

You leave for the Turtuk village in the morning. Not limited to the name, the village itself is one of a kind. This is the last major Indian settlement before the Line of Control, making it the last village on the Indo-Pak border! You can explore the village and its rich history before heading back to Hunder. While going back to Hunder we will experience the ultimate Night Ride first time ever under a beautiful sky.

Kindly Note: Travel to Turtuk will depend on the weather and the condition of the roads. If the Shyok route is not in good condition, you will travel back to Leh. In this case, visiting Turtuk will not be possible.

Day 9: NUBRA VALLEY TO LEH VIA KHARDUNG LA PASS

With each day bringing a new adventure, why should today be any different? Your first stop for the day will be the Diskit Monastery (in case you were unable to visit it the day before). The beautiful, milky-white monastery is the oldest and largest one in Nubra! You can also try the off-road thrill on an ATV in the desert!* Today’s exhilarating journey then takes you across Khardung La, which at about 5400 meters is one of the highest motorable passes in the world! Travel along North Pullu and Khardung village with a halt at North Pullu for lunch. You then continue onward to South Pullu and reach Leh by evening. Depending on the time you reach Leh, you have the opportunity to go shopping that evening. Dinner and stay for the night will be at the hotel in Leh.

Day 10: ENROUTE KARGIL

Beginning the journey after breakfast, you first have a chance to visit the many amazing places in Leh in case you haven’t done so earlier during the trip. The next leg of the tour is the most scenic one. Along the route you visit the Lumaryu monastery which is the oldest and largest monastery in Ladakh. Lumaryu, a quaint village is stylized as Moonscape for the moonlike landscapes carved into the Himalayan Mountains. Next, you will be driving through Fotu La, the highest pass on the SrinagarLeh highway located at a height of 13478 feet. This is a must-visit for everyone that takes a trip to Leh-Ladakh. Following that comes the Namik La pass, the last pass along the way to Mulbek Valley where one can see the rock carvings of Maitreya Buddha. You enter the Kargil region by late evening. Dinner and stay for the night will be at Kargil.

Day 11: KARGIL TO SRINAGAR

Your journey starts after breakfast. Enroute, you will be passing through the second coldest, inhabited place in the world, Drass. Here, in extreme conditions, the temperature dips to a bone-chilling -60°C. You can visit the Drass War Memorial while here, a commemorative memorial for the brave soldiers and officers that laid down their lives during the Kargil War of 1999. Also, get a view of Tololing peak and Tiger Hill, the highest peak in Kargil. After lunch, your journey continues across the Zoji La Pass, the second highest pass in Kargil after Fotu La pass. You reach Sonamarg well before night where you get a chance to experience the beautiful Shikara ride at Dal Lake and stay in a houseboat for the night!

Day 12: DEPARTURE

The tour reaches its end after breakfast today, with a plethora of bewitching memories to keep you company until we see you again!

We are not responsible for bad weather conditions, political disrupts or any unavoidable reasons for cancellation of trip
Type of vehicle will be as per the number of persons and the vehicle used will be exclusive for you but will not be at disposal.

No refunds will be made for unused tours and hotel rooms.
If required you can request the hotels for late check – out and the hotels will do the needful subject to the availability of the room
Vehicle is strictly point-to-point. It will stick to the itinerary or will cover all the points listed inthe itinerary.
Any additional pick and drop would cost additional to the guest and it would be directly payable to the driver.
We will not be liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of the reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/ flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closureof / entry restrictions at a placeofvisit, etc.
City museums and monuments remain closed on National holidays. If any visit is missed due to closure or maintenance issues,we must not be held responsible for the same.
Any refund claims on the complementary part of the package shall not be entertained.
Anything Lost/left behind during the trip should be the traveler’s responsibility.
We do not own any responsibility. Traveller has to coordinate with respective entities to retrieve it back.
